DEWA FPD mulit-stage series sludge dewaterer is a combination of a BTN (heavy duty belt thickener) and a FP (belt filter press), and is designed for the most demanding, large capacity applications. The FPD multi-stage dewaterer is easy to modify according to the characteristics of the sludge and throughput and cake solid requirements.

The FPD is provided with pneumatic belt tracking and tensioning. This flexible and sophisticated system prevents unnecessary belt wear from wrinkling and maintains belt tension at a constant preset level even when the thickness of the sludge cake varies.

Easy access to every component

All electrical and pneumatic components and bearings are located outside the plate frame, and this makes it easier to maintain the unit without interrupting its operation.

Optional configurations

DEWA FPD is available with various configurations such as Filtrate recycling systems, manual/automatic brush pipes, inline polymer injections, sludge level probes, hydraulic type belt tracking and tensioning system and local PLC control panel suitable for Audio/Manual operation with provision for interlocking with accessories.
